My passion for music started early, much thanks to my 3 older siblings listening to the popcharts and my oldest brother playing the guitar. He taught me the basics of the guitar and music, but I quite early came to make my own guitar-riff. Playing “Smoke on the water” and “Satisfaction” got me thinking “How hard can it be” (I was young!). From there on I’ve always made music, it’s more or less inevitable. I made my first score for a film back in 1991, “Thamkrabok”, about a monastery and the monks within taking care of drug addicts. It turned out really well and got me hooked up with Anders “Bostic” Envall at Dockhouse Film & TV. Together with Dockhouse, Ecology Film Production and others I’ve made scores to quite many films by now, many receiving prestigious awards at film festivals around the world. I also received an award for my music, a Gold Camera Award at the Chicago Film festival 2000 for the film “Dreamcatcher”, produced by Dockhouse for their client Volvo. |
